My poor darling has all the decay teeth and as I was saying she has to go for a dental surgery and to be out under General Anesthetic. So today is the day.. the pinkie clothes was before the surgery when we are still queueing up. then we had to change to the surgery clothes. Including me. The other gal is also doing the same thing. And guess how old is she... she is 4 days younger and she looks so much bigger than SHermaine.
And while we are waiting, there were 3 other kids who scream and cried when they woke up after the surgery. The nurse say it is common as when they wake up usually the anesthetic is not totally off and there will still be numbness in the mouth so it is weird to the kids. Was wondering if the same thing will happen to Shermaine.
Again they gave her the jab on her hand to insert the anesthetic in, once injected, she slept in seconds....then I had to go out liao. But this time was better coz she was given a numb cream to apply first so during the jab there was no pain at all as tey were diverting her attention by blowing bubbles with her. Poor darling got poke so many times at such a young age.
And the surgery was about 1.5 hrs which started at about 1.30pm but we having been waiting since 9.30am.
WHen out she was still in a daze sleeping, when she woke up she just look very blur and weak, still having blood coming out from the mouth and she was given glucose water as she has not eaten since 4am last nite. Poor darling... but brave darling!! She never cry or scream just want me to carry her with her head on my shoulder...
And finally the conclusion... 6 extractions and 18 fillings!! COst S$1628.00!! Lucky not I pay. keke... I just pay $4.80 for the medicine which must pay cash.. heehee
